Program Overview

The Esthetician – Spa Management program at Georgian College is designed to equip students with the essential practical skills, business training, and professional competencies needed to thrive in the expanding field of esthetics. This program is taught by a diverse faculty with extensive industry experience, ensuring a comprehensive education that covers various spa modalities. Students will engage in over 240 hours of hands-on experience in Georgian’s Spa clinic, allowing them to refine their skills and develop the professional ethics necessary for success in the esthetics industry. Program Structure

The Esthetician – Spa Management program is a 2-year full-time diploma program delivered in person. The program structure includes:

  • Comprehensive training in spa modalities, including skin, body, and hand/foot treatments.
  • Hands-on experience through clinical placements under the supervision of licensed professionals.
  • Development of business skills necessary for running a small business in the esthetics field.
  • Preparation for international testing in esthetics.

Students are required to adhere to a strict “no jewellery” policy and uniform requirements during labs and clinics. The program also emphasizes the importance of professional decorum and ethics in the workplace.
