If you thrive in fast-paced environments where every day brings something new, the Event Planning program is for you. This program is designed to equip you with the skills necessary to design, coordinate, promote, and deliver impressive events, including conferences, fundraisers, trade shows, and weddings. With a focus on practical, real-world experience, you will be prepared to launch a successful career in the dynamic field of event management.

 

Program Structure

The Event Planning (H141) program is a full-time course that spans 2 years (4 semesters). It offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes:

  • Event planning and design
  • Coordination and marketing
  • Sponsorship and budgeting
  • Risk management and event evaluation

This program is delivered through a combination of online and in-class lectures. Each semester, students will engage in event management opportunities, culminating in a final capstone event and a mandatory 14-week work-integrated learning placement. This hands-on approach ensures that students gain valuable experience and skills necessary for a successful career in event management.
