With the construction and renovation industry steadily growing across Canada, job prospects are expected to remain strong for decades. Market researcher BuildForce Canada projects a need for 44,600 new carpenters in Canada, 12,000 in Ontario alone, over the next 10 years. Our program is focused on hands-on learning both in our state-of-the-art shops and in the community as students complete a field placement so that they have the practical skills to succeed upon graduation.
Program Structure
The Carpentry and Renovation Technician program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the field. The program is structured as follows:
