Academic Requirements

The admission requirements for the College Diploma - Business program at Conestoga are as follows:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status.

For more details on the Mature Student definition, please refer to the relevant section.
Grade 12 compulsory English, C (60%) or U (50%), or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1251), or equivalent.
Grade 11 Mathematics, C (min 65%), M (U/C) (min 55%), or U (min 55%) or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics (MATH1420 or MATH1375) with a minimum of 60%.
For Canadian citizens and permanent residents with transcripts from outside Canada, a course-by-course credential evaluation is required. This can be requested at a reduced fee through the college or through an approved provider such as ICAS or WES.
Transcripts may be required to be evaluated by WES in some cases.
Applicants with transcripts from institutions where the language of instruction is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency.
Strong mathematical skills and familiarity with computers are recommended for success in this program.
