The Applied Chemistry and Biotechnology Diploma is designed for those who are passionate about scientific discovery and innovation. Graduates can find employment in diverse laboratory settings, including biomedical and health-related biotechnology, forestry, fisheries, mining, agriculture, oceanography, and environmental labs. Additionally, students have the option to transfer into the third year of a Bachelor of Science degree at a BC university, providing a pathway for further academic advancement.

Program Structure

The Applied Chemistry and Biotechnology Diploma program spans a duration of 2 years and offers both full-time and part-time study options. Key features of the program structure include:

  • Three academic terms in the first year, covering foundational subjects such as biology, chemistry, English, math, and physics.
