Welcome to the Business and Media Study Abroad program at BCIT! This is a full-time, in-person program designed specifically for international students currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution outside of Canada. The program offers a unique opportunity to study in the vibrant city of Vancouver, British Columbia, known for its stunning natural beauty and diverse culture. Students can immerse themselves in a rich educational experience while enjoying the breathtaking surroundings. The program is available for a duration of one to two terms, with start dates in January, April, and September. Program Structure

The Business and Media Study Abroad program is structured to provide a comprehensive learning experience over a period of one term (12-15 weeks). Here are some key details about the program:

  • Program Length: One term (12-15 weeks)
  • Delivery Format: Full-time, in-person classes
  • Credits: Students can earn credits for up to four undergraduate courses during their term
  • Intakes: Available in January, April, and September each year
  • Campus Locations: Classes may be held at either the Burnaby Campus or Downtown Campus

Additionally, students have the option to choose between two pathways:

  • Study Abroad by Design: Custom curriculum with up to four courses
  • Study Abroad with Language Development: For those needing to strengthen their English skills, this option includes intensive language courses alongside entry-level business courses
